Bumper festival sale, heroes appears to maintain leadership in the Motocor 2-two-wheeler section

Hero MotoCorp expects that the current festival season will be “best” in terms of sales and helps maintain a leadership position in the domestic bike department this year, a senior executive of the company said. The largest two -wheeler manufacturer in the country, who has recently crossed the 1 million units of production milestones, is expected to promote the demand for two -wheelers at the GST rate and the loss of sales will be paid during the tax reform.

“This is probably the best macro environment we have in the long run, and this should be a better number than the previous industry,” Hero MotoCorp’s chief business officer Ashutosh Verma told PTI in a dialogue.

He said the first five -month industry was widely flat and therefore, the expectations of the before the GST argument were slightly muted, he said.

“Some of the purchase has been postponed in the Navratri period. But we have a booking pipeline is strong … this is an exciting time to go in. I think (the festive period) should be one of the best people you have,” Verma said.

Asked about maintaining the leadership in the domestic two -wheeler industry, he said, “We are a clear leader. By August, we are about two million units in the first five months in the first five months. And I mean we have never lost the leadership in this way.

“And we are sure that what is going on with the hat that goes ahead, this gap will only increase and we will strengthen the year as the leader again in 225.” Verma further said.

Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 54,45,251 units in Fi 25 and led the two -wheeler space. The rival Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India finished second with the sale of 47,89,283 units.
