Hero GST Rate Cut: India’s largest 2-wheeler company announces price reduction, check out models-twelve new rates

Hero MotoCorp announced on Wednesday that this would reduce his bike prices by Rs 15,743. The company said the customers have received the full benefit of the GST rate cut. The improved price will be implemented from September 22, the company said in regulatory fileings. The price cut will apply to several models, including a motorcycle like splendar+, glamor and extram range, as well as scooters like zoom, destiny and joy+. The company noted that customers could take the benefits of Rs 15,743 on selected models (X-Showroom Delhi).

Hero CEO Welcome to GST Improvements

Welcoming the GST rate deduction, Hero MotoCoor’s Chief Executive Officer Vikram Kasbekar said, “The government’s next-GNST 3.0 reforms will increase consumption, power the GDP growth and speed up the journey of India’s 5 trillion economy.”

Kasbekar underlined the importance of two -wheelers in daily life. He said, “In addition, more than half of Indian families use bikes to meet their daily needs and this creates a great deal of mobility.”

The CEO further states that the price is reduced at the right time. Kasbekar said, “It makes the two -wheeler more affordable and accessible to India’s largest customer base,” Kasbekar said that the action is more time than the festival season.

Change changes at the hero

Hero MotoCorp recently appointed Harshvardhan Chitle as the new Chief Executive Officer, from January 5, 2026, he has been the head of the Dutch Lighting Company’s commercial business. After the resignation of Niranjan Gupta earlier this year, Vikram Kasbekar, who served as the Chief Executive Officer, will pass the Chitale.

President Pawan Munjal said that the appointment of Chitle would support the company’s electric and new mobility satisfaction. “The appointment of Mr. Chitale will increase the electric and emerging mobility of the motorcycle manufacturer,” Munjal said in the company’s statement.

Chitale had earlier transmitted to the Philips Lighting India independent company and held senior leadership positions in HCL Infosystems and Honeywell Automation India.
