Honda motorcycle and scooter India (HMSI) cut the prices of goods and service tax (GST) on motorcycles and scooters (GST) at 28% to 18%. Based on the model, these benefits increase by Rs 18,887. Motorcycles, including popular scooters and in Shine, Unicorn and CB350 series, such as Activia and DIO, will look minimal at all costs.HMSI, Sales and Marketing Director Yogesh Mathur said, “We welcome the recent GST reforms of the Government of India. The company has said that the prices of up to 350 cc for scooters and motorcycles will be immediately applicable. However, the company is still evaluating the effect of the new 40% GST slab on certain models.
From September 22, 2025, small cars and service tax (GST), two -wheelers, three wheels, buses, trucks and ambulances will be reduced from 28%to 18%, while 40%tax will be taxed over 350 cc.
